Nicole is an incredible yoga teacher. I love all of the aspects of her classes. With her, I have learned more about what the practice of yoga does for me. I always leave her class feeling renewed.
Sukhmani – 500-E-RYT, YACEP is a senior level Kundalini Yoga teacher, Grammy® Nominated Mantra Artist with her band SUKHA and fundraising humanitarian and advocate for animal rights. She teaches classes in Southern California, tours and leads retreats internationally and also trains teachers. She leads many workshops on sound (Sound Bliss), breath and special yogic workshops designed for women as well as her own Infinite Waters kundalini yoga and meditation weekend immersions.
Sukhmani has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. Her passion for yoga grew exponentially when she began practicing Kundalini Yoga. Being an accomplished singer and songwriter who studied at Berklee College of Music, she was hooked by the rhythms and energy of the postures, music, and mantras used in classes. As she went deeper into the practice, she realized that Kundalini Yoga and Meditation is a transformational experience and sharing the teachings with others seemed like the natural thing to do. Sukhmani and her longtime musical partner/husband formed the mantra band, Sukha in 2011. Sukha’s mantra and chakra concept album “Rise” (for the Root Chakra) released worldwide in 2016 and Sukha has been touring the US doing concerts, festivals and workshops ever since. Rise was on the Grammy® Ballot for Best New Age Album of the Year in 2016 and has received many accolades and their second album, Cusp was released in May 2018. Sukhmani utilizes sound and the sound current by incorporating mantra and chanting meditation in her classes and sound healing workshops called Sound Bliss (often with her band, Sukha). Her popular and unique Sound Bliss workshops incorporate guided meditation, mantra meditation and the use of instruments such as gongs and Tibetan and quartz bowls and other eclectic instruments to bring deep relaxation and restore the intrinsic state of balance in the body.
